We provide our services on a cost-plus reasonable contingency fee, so you can always expect our rates to be lower than the local market, and competitive with offshore, e.g., Asia / Eastern Europe rates.

Each service listed below is costed separately. We are rapidly moving to a fixed-price model for some of these services. Where we have determined a current fixed price, we’ll share this with you in the initial discovery call.

Rather than set a fixed rate per hour or day, we present costs on a per-case basis.

Implementation

This suite of services is designed to get you up and running as quickly as possible. You won’t require these if you entirely implement your system yourself. Our customer services team will provide support throughout your implementation journey.

Data migration strategy

We’ll review the condition, structure, and format of the data in your current software applications to determine the easiest and fastest way to:

  • Ensure the data you need to move is of the highest possible quality and integrity.
  • Prepare and move your data into your new system.

Deliverable: In-person and documented advice with detailed step-by-step instructions to achieve a reliable data migration.

Time and effort: Up to five days time (elapsed and effort).

Data migration

Based on the state and location of your data, we’ll:

  • Assess and confirm the feasibility of exporting your data.
  • Deploy the relevant tools and/or methods to export the data.
  • Prepare your data for data import to Salesorder.
  • Import your data and test integrity.

Deliverable: Exported data sets, import-ready data sets, data import to your new system, handover, and acceptance. Documented details instructions for future data imports.

Time and effort: Three days minimum + quote and estimate for any additional time.

Setup

We’ll configure your system for you, so you are ready to implement the final step to transition your accounting trial balance and stock levels. This transition is best undertaken by a qualified accounting professional. If required we can provide support for this transition. The accounting and stock level transition is documented here.

When you ask us to undertake the setup for you, we’ll provide a questionnaire to capture your requirements. This contains a list of key information we need you to provide.

Deliverable: Completion of your system settings, i.e. Document templates, and numbering formats, payment terms and methods, user roles, email integrations, etc.

Time and effort: Up to two days. Variances of this time are dependent on your document template formats.


Deliverable: Scope of work, plus dedicated consultancy.

Sales and E-commerce

This suite of services is designed to help you adopt e-commerce or optimize your current e-commerce activity. We also provide services to help you with outbound sales activity, such as cold outreach and lead generation.

B2B e-commerce strategy

Whatever you are struggling with, whether it be creating an online B2B presence or store, integrating or managing marketplaces, B2C e-commerce, or anything connected with e-commerce, one of our partners or we can help you.

Deliverable: Through an initial free consultation of up to two hours, we will assess or help you define your e-commerce objectives and deliver a documented, pragmatic and easy-to-execute strategy and plan.

If required, we can coordinate and introduce you to the relevant partners.

Time and effort: First two hours free of charge. We’ll quote for additional hours.

B2B E-commerce solution

The objective of this service is to confirm what technology(s) and vendors you need to evaluate and/or purchase, determine an implementation strategy, and, where appropriate, get you up and running with a B2B e-commerce solution.

A B2B e-commerce solution can often consist of one or more elements which include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • B2B e-commerce software selection
  • B2B marketplace selection
  • B2B e-commerce or marketplace software integration
  • B2B e-commerce user experience design

If we mutually agree you need to engage third-party services or software, we’ll work with you to extract the relevant and maximum value from them. For example, coordinating the discovery of their services, sanitizing their scope of work, and working with them to join up our technology and services.

Outbound sales strategy and solution

Apart from picking and packing your orders (which can be done by robots, if you have the budget), it’s our opinion that most human tasks can be done or accelerated by software.

Regardless of the age and stage of your company’s journey, we strongly recommend you take advantage of your service. For example, before you consider hiring new staff.

The purpose of this service is to:

  • Explore how you might leverage software automation to eliminate repetitive tasks currently performed by your team.
  • Help you decide where you should deploy automation e.g. the cost/benefit analysis.
  • Develop or add automation functions to your Salesorder system.
  • Teach you how to operate software automation.

Deliverable: Educate you about the possibilities of software automation, identify and review the workflow candidates, i.e. order review process, assess the tangible benefits, i.e. time saved per employee hour, present cost-benefit analysis, decide priorities, specify and develop/configure automation, and provide operating instructions.

Supply and demand inventory forecasting

Apart from a healthy margin, your primary objective is to manufacture or buy enough inventory so that you always have the minimum amount to accurately service demand and avoid back and lost orders or buy the stock you cannot sell.

Inventory forecasting is complex and error-prone if you use guesswork or spreadsheets or a combination of both. It’s also costly and can be your business’s nemesis.

Our solution provides always-on and automated inventory forecasting. We also provide automation to auto-create proposals that you can approve and convert to purchase orders in your Salesorder system.

Inventory forecasting education, advice, and evaluation.

This service aims to educate you, get you comfortable with automated forecasting, and provide you with a solution that will give you on-demand and up-to-date forecasts based on your past and current trading history.

  • Assess your data and verify you have all the required data points
  • Set up the integration with Power BI
  • Develop your selected Power BI Reports
  • Develop your Dashboards

Customization and Integration

Customization - plugin new functionality

You can add custom fields, sections, and tabs to your Salesorder system. However, if you need more sophisticated functionality, we can develop the function as a plugin.


We’ll gather your requirements and ask you to approve them. Once you approve, we’ll produce a specification, estimate, and costs. And when you agree, we’ll commence with development and keep you updated about our progress.


When the development is completed, we’ll share the plugin with you so that you can perform user testing. When you’re satisfied with the functionality, we’ll ask you to accept the plugging and complete payment formally.


Any changes to the original functionality during the development process will trigger a change request. For example, you discover you need an additional element incorporated in the original specification.

This will change the initial effort required and the time scales quoted in the original estimate. We’ll recalibrate the project and share the impact and costs.


You can then ask us to proceed and confirm you’re happy with the new schedule and costs. Alternatively, you might decide not to approve the change request or push the change into a future phase 2 development.


Deliverables: Requirements and Specification documents, Estimate and Plan, Plugin and operating instructions.


Time and effort: All work, including the business requirements capture, is chargeable.

Integration to 3rd Party Software.

If you need an integration with software not listed here, we are willing to help.


We’ll gather your requirements and ask you to approve them. Once approved by you, we’ll produce a specification, estimate, and costs. Once approved by you, we’ll commence with development and keep you updated about our progress.
